Hello and welcome to Claremont! Through this website you may apply to any or all of the programs in the Keck Science Department designed for incoming first-year Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Scripps students: Introduction to Biological Chemistry (IBC), and the Summer Science Immersion Program (SScIP). IBC is a fall-semester, non-accelerated, double-credit course that integrates biology and chemistry; and the SScIP is a week-long summer bridge program designed for students who are first-generation college students, who are from groups traditionally underrepresented in science, and/or who attended under-resourced high schools. Detailed information on these programs is provided in the links below.
Please submit application materials for SScIP by July 19, 2017!
Please submit application materials for IBC by July 7, 2017!
Step 1) To register for this site, please click on the "Sign Up" to the right. If you are retuning to this site, please "Sign In" on the upper-right.
Step 2) Once you have completed the sign-up process, you'll receive an email to confirm your registration. Make sure to check your spam box just in case! Please add us to your safe sender list so that you can continue to receive messages from us.
Step 3) You may submit you application materials through the site per the instructions you'll see when you log in.
Important Note: To submit an application to both IBC and SScIP, please first complete the application for one of the programs and then return to "Home" and click on "Create New Submission." Click again on "Create a New Submission?" and then choose the other program from the drop-down menu.
